Company-specific knowledge and employees skills are becoming increasingly significant in view of the ever-fiercer competition for competencies. In the attempt to further develop knowledge and skills by e-learning within organizations, it has been found that cultural and staff-related influencing factors must be explicitly taken into account. This is indispensable if e-learning is to become established as a durable and sustainable concept within companies.
